Rainbow-themed parties have grown so much in popularity. We receive lots of requests for rainbow party ideas and we were so happy when we spotted this delightful rainbow party table using japanese washi tape.
We luuuuv washi tape. Washi tape is a multi-purpose adhesive tape made of handmade Japanese paper known as washi. They come in many, many different colors and patterns and are a modern crafter’s dream. There are literally hundreds of uses for washi tape and we’ve seen more and more party planners use washi tape for their party decor, like this colorful washi tape party table from Kelly Oshiro Events.
For the gorgeous table runner, Kelly cut different colored washi tapes in various lengths and adhered them directly onto the white table runner (so pretty!). And we love the way the washi tape was used to decorate the candle holders. Washi tape tends to have a translucent quality to it so using them to decorate candle holders was a perfect way to add a soft and pretty glow to the party table.
